In February 2024, we were invited by Axya Consultores and Watson Institute to participate in their prestigious seminar at the Senate of the Republic.
This event provided us with a valuable opportunity to discuss the importance of developing and implementing public security policies with a gender perspective, particularly in the current context of Mexico.
During the seminar, we shared insights with Tania Nanaous from Lentes Púrpura, and we agreed that public policies must be designed and implemented from an intersectional approach, recognizing and addressing the multiple layers of discrimination and vulnerability that women face, especially those who have been systematically excluded from these decision-making spaces.
This approach is crucial to ensuring an inclusive and effective response to the security challenges our society faces.
