In October 2023, we commenced the training of police officers in Mexico City who serve as the first point of contact in assisting women victims of gender-based violence.
This training is crafted to enhance the agents' skills in managing situations involving women.
The program provides specific tools and strategies to address cases in a sensitive and effective manner within the realm of public safety, especially those impacting women. The primary focus is to ensure respectful, empathetic, and efficient treatment of women across various contexts, spanning from gender-based violence cases to instances of vulnerability. The objective is to strengthen the officers' abilities to provide an appropriate and equitable response, promoting the safety and well-being of all women in the community.
